German Club Dhaka is one of the oldest expat clubs in Bangladesh. The club was established in 1978 to serve the diplomats, German nationals and local delegates. Back in the day the clu was commonly known as the ’78 Rest house Society’, but nowadays this expat club is a marvel within the expat community and broadly known as the ‘German Club’.

Over the course of time, the club gained a reputation for excellent food, nice people, and family-friendly atmosphere. We host many members’ events like BBQ-nights, the Jazz Brunch and not to forget our famous ‘Oktoberfest’. Most of the time, our club is still a cozy and quiet club, where you can enjoy a cappuccino or take a dip in the pool. Come and enjoy our hospitality!

The German Club Dhaka facilities for its members and guests include a Restaurant & Bar, Swimming Pool, Tennis Court and others listed below.A club member can bring upto 20 guests per month, maximum 5 guests per day. Any additional guests or private parties involving more guests can be arranged by prior approval by email from General Manager. The other worldclass facilities provided by the club are, restaurant, bar, swimming pool,  tennis/ multipurpose court, badminton court, billiards and dirts, TV and library room, indoor playground for kids and so on.

Getting the membership in German Club Dhaka Bangladesh is not quitew easy. There are two different  variety in memberships in this club, like ordinary members, extraordinary members. The membership regulations are strictly followed.
